The heart of our digital pre-press service is the Scitex system, the star of which is our new Brisque 4 DFE . An high-end workstation sports four 332Mhz processors. The Brisque 4 RIPs through the most complex and graphics-heavy files at a speed over 10 times faster than previous Scitex PS/2 RIP stations. but the Brisque 4 is not just a faster machine, it is also far more sophisticated. With features such as post-RIP imposition, continuous-tone spot colour handling, and scriptable tasking, we are able to manipulate your files with maximum control and attention to detail all while minimizing throughput time.

With all our Scitex stations, we are able to offer unparalleled trapping, the best screens on the market, and post-RIP alterations. The beauty of the Scitex system is its unique ability to allow the operator to preview the degital files before any actual output is produced.

Our integrated network of Macs and Windows PC computers is directly linked to our Scitex stations. We've loaded our workstations for maximum speed and power, ideal for perfoming even the most difficult PhotoShop tasks. Both our Apple and Windows platform support all major desktop publishing softare, including in-house impositions. We have two imagesetters to output quality film up to 32” by 42 and 18.5” by 24.5.”

Some of our best work is done in scanning. Using our 345 Hell Drum Scanner we produce high or low resolution colour-corrected separations of the utmost quality achievable. We consider all colour specifications for a particular job and work closely with printers to ensure that your images print with maximum dynamic range. We accept original art up to 25” by 25” in any print or transparency format. We also offer a unique Scitex line-art Adobe Illustrator format.

Also at the leading edge of our digital art, we are proud to be a founding member of the International Association of Fine Art Digital Printmakers. Working closely with artists, we produce Giclee limited edition fine art prints on canvas, Arches watercolour paper and other specially crafted substrates with our IXIA. The maximum sheet size is 34”x 47.” In addition to our Premier Giclee, we have introduced an HP DesignJet 5000UV wide format printer to do our standard Fine Art prints and posters, murals, signs, p.o.p.s and lithographics proof.

Driving all this powerful hardware and software is a team of highly skilled technical staff. Their expertise is not limited to colour correction, trapping and high-end film separation. They are also experts in PhotoShop, Quark, and Illustrator. They tackle just about every workflow and design issue imaginable.
